Case Study - Carrier 17DA Guide Vane Repair

Carrier 17DA guide vane is a very specialized component.  The NRC has enhanced this part with specific modifications to enhance durability and longevity.  This fist modification is a locking devise for the rod arms.  The enhancement mechanically reduces "hanging" of the inlet guide vain.  The second enhancement focuses on the ball baring raceway.  After time, the raceway becomes worn and diminishes reliability.  The NRC has engineered a carbon steal raceway insert to repair the existing 17DA guide vane and increase reliability.
