Case Study - Stainless Exchanger

Carrier NSC can custom design a heat exchanger to meet your process requirements. Pictured below is a 316 Stainless Steal evaporator.  This is an example of a replacement exchanger being produced to meet the ever-changing requirements with process refrigeration.  The original evaporator was designed for -40F.  The customer's process engineers determined they could enhance their product if they could change their brine solution to -52F.  When they tested their process at -52F, the existing evaporator failed.  The NSC was called in for a solution.  NSC Engineers designed the 316 Stainless Steal exchanger and had their process back on line.
